Our Bureau Hyderabad, Dec. 11 Satyam Computer Services Ltd today announced that it has established a Centre of Excellence in Japan code-named Kanzen along with the inauguration of an offshore development centre for Japanese diversified group Inoac. As part of its plans, Satyam has initiated a process to focus on Japan by training Japanese engineering graduates in India, building bilingual talent pool in India and China and setting up of delivery centres in China, at Pune and Fukouka in Japan. Apart from the 100 bilingual engineers who have become part of the Kanzen, 10 native Japanese engineering freshers are being imparted training at the Satyam campus in Hyderabad. This process is being further expanded. According to a company statement, Inoac, a multi-billion dollar automotive supplier, has recently awarded Satyam with a large assignment which involves implementation of SAP initially in Japan.
