Air Cargo Info-Tech - Software IBS Software signs pact with Air New Zealand Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 25 IBS Software Services, provider of new generation IT solutions to the travel, transportation and logistics industry, has signed an agreement with Air New Zealand to provide Cargo Management System, an integrated chain management solution. The system, iCargo, will help Air New Zealand integrate its cargo business, both domestic and international, and will address the current and future business requirements of the airline’s entire air freight operations, according to a statement from IBS. Air New Zealand’s freight operations have seen a growth of 20 per cent in revenue in the last fiscal and the airline is among the top 50 of the world’s air freight carriers based on freight tonne-km. It is also the third major carrier, after Nippon Cargo Airlines and All Nippon Airways, to sign up for iCargo. The iCargo solution is flexible and scalable to support the growing and changing business needs of an airline.
