Financial Performance Corporate Results - Software Zensar Tech Q3 net up at Rs 15 cr Our Bureau Pune, Jan. 28 Zensar Technologies, a software and BPO player, has recorded a net profit of Rs 15.02 crore and revenues of Rs 199.20 crore for the third quarter ended December 2007. The company had recorded a net profit of Rs 13.22 crore and revenues of Rs 148 crore for the corresponding period last year. Basic earnings per share before exceptional income was Rs 6.27, up from Rs 5.58 in the same quarter previous year, and from Rs 5.91 of last quarter. Mr Ganesh Natarajan, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director, said the company had signed a multi-year contract with a consumer packaged goods sales and marketing agency in North America for manufacturers of groceries, health and beauty care items, household care products, and general merchandise. This, integrated IT-BPO services, included high volume transaction processing, enterprise content management andremote database management. Total value of this deal is expected to be $5 million over a period of two years. It has also won a deal witha technology provider of IT, network and visual display solutions, toestablish and manage an offshore service delivery unit in India for three years. The delivery centre would cover services ranging from helpdesk services, infrastructure management to application management and maintenance services.
