DQE, Percept Picture sign pact

Hyderabad, Feb. 11

To cater to the growing demand for animation movies, DQ Entertainment (DQE) and Percept Picture Company (PPC) on Monday announced a co-production MoU signed recently for three films slated for 2009 – 2010 release. After Hanuman and Return of Hanuman, DQE, now in association with PPC, will make three high quality animation films — two of entertaining mythology genre and the third a complete Bollywood flick — with es timated budget of $25 million. The business proposal and co production understanding between the two is aimed at bringing high quality story telling and visuals and international success to India. Percept Picture Company is part of Percept Holdings, which owns and manages a spectrum of marketing communication companies.
