Corporate MUMBAI: Anadha Enterprise Pvt Ltd, a company owned by Anil Ambani and his associates, has picked up 19.21 per cent stake in Reliance Energy Ltd (REL), taking its total stake in the company to 29.73 per cent. Anadha Enterprise along with PACs (persons acting in concert) Tina A Ambani, Anil D Ambani, Jaianmol A Ambani, Jaianshul A Ambani, Kokila D Ambani, Bhavan Mercantile, Reliance Innoventures (consequent to amalgamation with AAA Global Business Management), AAA Project Ventures, Hansdhwani Trading Company, Sonata Investments, Reliance Capital and Reliance General Insurance Company, has acquired over 4.09 crore shares aggregating to 19.21 per cent of the total paid up capital of REL, on August 21. Following the latest acquisitions, the stake of Anadha Enterprise along with the PACs in REL, stands at over 6.33 crore shares aggregating to 29.73 per cent of the company's total paid up capital, up from 10.52 per cent previously, REL informed the NSE.
Anadha Enterprise, along with the PACs, has also picked up 11.79 per cent stake (amounting to about 2.64 crore shares) in Reliance Capital Ltd. With this acquisition (on August 21) the stake of Anadha Enterprise along with the PACs in RCL, stands at over 10.64 crore shares aggregating to 47.53 per cent of the company's total paid up capital, up from 35.74 per cent previously. - PTI
