LSHS, furnace oil prices slashed

MUMBAI, July 15

OIL companies on Monday slashed prices of furnace oil and low sulphur heavy stock while petrol and diesel prices remained untouched.

The prices will be effective midnight of July 15.

The ex-refinery prices for fertiliser units at Mumbai are down to Rs 9,050 per kl (Rs 9,200) while those of LSHS were down to Rs 9,690 per tonne (Rs 9,850).

The Mumbai ex-refinery prices for non-fertiliser units for furnace oil and LSHS will be Rs 9,660 per kl (Rs 9,810) and Rs 10,340 per tonne (Rs 10,500) respectively.

The prices of domestic aviation turbine fuel and naphtha remain at Rs 10,900 per tonne and Rs 11, 800 per tonne for fertiliser units and Rs 13,130 per tonne for non-fertiliser units.
