New Products & Services Limtex Tea launches new brand Our Bureau
VISAKHAPATNAM: Limtex Tea and Industries Limited, the flagship company of the Limtex group based at Kolkata, launched its Royal Silver Premium Dust tea here on Sunday. The dealer here would supply it to the districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and East Godavari. On the occasion, Mr Arabindo Bose, Director of the company, said Sri Surya Marketings had been appointed dealer by the company and the tea would be available in metallised polypouches of 250 g, 100 g and 50 g sizes. The brand would be available in both CTC (granular) and dust (powder) varieties. He said the consumer prices had been kept at Rs 40 for each 250 g packet, Rs 16 for 100 g packet and Rs 8 for 50 g packet in the CTC category. The prices of the dust variety would be Rs 37.50, Rs 15 and Rs 7.50 respectively. He said the company, in tea business for the past 25 years, was hoping to improve its exports, especially with Iraq seeking to raise imports of Indian teas. He said an MoU had been signed with Iraq enabling Limtex to export 50 million kgs of tea, which would greatly boost the company's exports.
