Personal Products Marketing - Awards & Honours AMGF Corp announces FMCG awards Our Bureau
New Delhi , May 29 COMMUNICATION company, AMGF Corp has announced the winners across 51 categories on fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) products in what it claims are the first FMCG awards to be instituted in India. These awards follow a nation-wide survey and poll, which was conducted through interviews, newspaper inserts and on the Internet to establish consumer preference. While Pepsi has been chosen over Coca-Cola in the bottled soft drinks category, Kothari Product swept the mouth freshner category with three awards in the `Supari- based mouth freshner' category and in two pan masala categories. In categories like breakfast cereals and shoe polish, Kellogg's and Cherry Blossom, being the most recalled brands, turned out to be the obvious choices since these brands are the most recalled; branded rice category is ruled by Kohinoor as per the survey findings. In the `Mark remover cream category', No Marks scored over HLL's Anti Marks and Stretchnil whereas Nirma was chosen as the numero uno detergent powder in the regular segment.
