Coke bags gold trophy at marketing awards

COCA-COLA India has bagged the gold trophy at the `Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia' held at Singapore, under the category `Best Use of Interactive Media' for its interactive Web site `www.myenjoyzone.com'.

The company said in a statement that this Web site was designed specifically to strengthen customer connect, and provides information on its marketing initiatives.

The company was also honoured by the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation for its commitment to the community. The Chairperson of the foundation, Ms Sonia Gandhi, presented a memento to the President and CEO of Coca-Cola India, Mr Sanjiv Gupta. in appreciation of the company's participation in the foundation's RGF's Motorised Tri-wheeler Scheme for the empowerment and self-reliance of for the disabled through mobility. Meanwhile, the Institute of Directors conferred the `Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Directors' award on Mr Gupta, according to a company release.
