IVRCL bags irrigation orders worth Rs 923 cr

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd (IVRCL) has been awarded four irrigation contracts worth Rs 923 crore by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The Department of Water Resources (Irrigation) has awarded the projects to IVRCL Prasad Sew, one of the joint ventures of IVRCL, for execution and the necessary wherewithal is being mobilised, according to a press release from the company.

With this contract, the order book situation of IVRCL has improved to more than Rs 2,500 crore, which assures the targeted level of turnover of Rs 1,200 crore for the current financial year, the release said.

The operating margins of the company have been on the increase, in tune with the industry trends. IVRCL is actively pursuing plans for getting export orders for construction services, the release added.
