Suprajit to pay 20 pc interim

BANGALORE: Automotive component manufacturer Suprajit Engineering Ltd has declared an interim dividend of 20 per cent for 2004-05.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 3.4 crore during the third quarter of 2004, up 21.51 per cent over the corresponding previous period. The revenues grew 48.33 per cent at Rs 33.35 crore (Rs 22.48 crore).

For the nine-month period ended December 2004, Suprajit, which manufactures cables and speedometers for the automotive sector, posted a net profit of Rs 7.14 crore, up 16.83 per cent and revenues of Rs 78.2 crore, up 28.7 per cent.
