Karnataka Bank opens ATM at Besant Nagar in Chennai

MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank Ltd opened its 37th ATM at Beasant Nagar in Chennai recently.

A press release said here on Monday that Karnataka Bank is planning to increase the number of ATMs to 100 by December.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr P. Jayarama Bhat, General Manager, said that the bank would replace the existing Moneyplant ATM cards with Visa International Debit cards at free of cost. He also spoke on the proposed tie-up with `Cash Tree' for sharing of ATMs with six nationalised banks. Karnataka Bank has an arrangement with Corporation Bank for sharing latter's ATM network.

Mr K.N. Ramasubramanian, former Director of Karnataka Bank, was also present on the occasion.
