Karvy social initiatives

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Karvy Group has launched its first annual staff blood donation camp here on Monday as a part of its `Responsible Citizenry' initiative.

In a press release, Karvy said hundreds of employees from several departments turned up to donate blood at the Madhapur facility, where the first camp was held.

The Karvy Vice-President (HRD), Mr M.S. Manohar, said the group proposes to take up more such initiatives and promote awareness on such social needs in the months to come. These initiatives would be conceptualised around the themes of health and hygiene and pollution and eco-protection, the release said.
