New Delhi , Sept 6

MAKEMYTRIP.COM, an online travel company, today launched its new Web site (www.makemytrip.com) for the Indian market. The site offers complete travel solutions including online booking of air tickets, hotels, car rentals, week-end packages and road trips within and from India.

The Web site has also launched the `lowest air fare guarantee' that promises to refund the difference if a customer is able to get a domestic airfare cheaper than what is being offered by the travel company. The company officials said that the `lowest airfare guarantee' was applicable on all domestic airlines, including the low cost ones.

"In the domestic market we will offer fares from all the airlines, online booking of rooms in over 350 hotels and car rentals among other items," the company's Chief Operating Officer, Mr Keyur Joshi, said.

The site also offers a variety of payment options including online payment. The company hopes to achieve sales of about Rs 200 crore during the current year, up from Rs 101 crore recorded during the last fiscal ended March 31.
