CNBC-TV18 unveils series of market programmes

CNBC-TV18 has launched a series of market relevant programming in the 12 noon to 2.30 p.m. slot, such as Money Market Update, Houseviews, F&O Trends, Stock in News, Commodity Update, Mid-Cap CEO Calls and Small Cap Radar.

"Today's market is extremely complex and there are many inter-linkages with a variety of factors that investors need to be aware of. The new environment calls for new tools that help investors understand, act upon and profit from. We are confident that the new line up will help investors in deciphering the new market environment better," said Mr Ajay Chacko, Head (Marketing), CNBC-TV18.

While Money Market Update tells viewers about the latest developments in related to bonds, the state of the Indian rupee, auctions and global currencies, Houseviews is on new brokerage stock ideas and gives viewers top brokerage ratings and strategy reports as well as features a famous brokerage.

Similarly, Mid Cap CEO Calls is an interactive session wherein management from various companies can call and interact with the anchor. On the other hand, Small Cap Radar is reportedly an action driven segment, which advises viewers on which stocks to buy and those that can be avoided. Public Offer Corner reportedly evaluates new IPOs, to make it easy for prospective shareholders to take decisions.

The channel is also going top shortly launch a new talkshow, Occidental and Oriental, featuring international investment gurus.
