Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will ask the selected team sponsor to deposit 30 per cent of the sponsorship fee each year in an escrow account. This is part of the new tender document floated by the Board inviting bids for the four-year team sponsorship.

Along with this, it has also fixed the floor price of Rs 1 crore per test match and Rs 90 lakh for each one-day international. The Board is hoping to generate over Rs 250 crore from team sponsorship.
