Redington to distribute Xbox 360

Microsoft has announced has appointed Redington India, as its distribution partner in the country for its Xbox 360 product, a video game console. Slated to be launched later this year, the product will be available through Redington's chain of seven service centres in the major metros and 9,000 distribution outlets overall.

Mr Ashim Mathur, Marketing Manager, Xbox 360, Microsoft, said that Redington would be setting up 15 flagship stores in the seven cities, where the service centres are already present. Two variants of the product are being launched - the Xbox 360 Core system and the Xbox 360 ProMr J.S. Kulkarni, Chief Executive Officer, Redington India, said that the company would invest Rs 3 crore in setting up the flagship stores and would commit a team of 35 trained personnel for the after sales delivery and service. Xbox 360 Core system is priced at Rs 19,990 and Xbox 360 Pro system at Rs 23,990.
