Hyderabad , Aug. 15

IDLconsult, the mining and infrastructure division of Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd, was awarded a mining contract worth Rs 110 crore by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL).

The project is to be executed over a period of 24 months at Manuguru OC 2 in Khammam district in AP. SCCL, one of the largest coal mining companies, has turned around from a loss-making situation to a highly profitable organisation by the process of outsourcing their main mining activities in the last five years.

IDLconsult undertakes works for drilling, blasting, excavation, hauling, and dump-yard management in the mining sector.

It also possesses the skills for controlled blasting, tunneling and shaft sinking in the infrastructure sector. Earlier IDLconsult executed two major coal mining contracts in SCCL worth Rs 90 crore.
