Communication - concise, precise and correct - is crucial not only in the corporate world but in all walks of life and, therefore, everyone must try to hone communication skills, said the Commissioner of Police, Mr V.S.K. Kaumudi.

He was speaking at Andhra University here on Friday after inaugurating a two-day national seminar on corporate communications. Mr P.V.R. Murthy, CEO of Exclusive Search and Recruitment Consultants, Chennai, said in his keynote address that absence of timely, correct communication might lead to confusion among workers, a situation, which certain trade union leaders tend to exploit. "Therefore, two-way communication must be encouraged. Every management must seek to get feedback from employees." Prof. J.V. Prabhakara Rao, Principal, AU College of Arts and Commerce, presided over the inaugural session.
