Airlines Marketing - Promotions & Offers Fly more, fly free: New offer from Indian Our Bureau
New Delhi , Nov. 30 From December 1 the more you fly with the State-owned airline, Indian, on select sectors, the better are your chances of getting free tickets for travel within the country. The airline has launched the `Touch 10/touch 20' scheme that is offering two free tickets on any domestic sector for those who travel 10 times on select sectors between now and February 27, 2007. Similarly, passengers who travel 20 times within three months on select sectors will be entitled to four free tickets on the domestic network of the airline. An airline spokesman said that the reward scheme would be available on most of the sectors on which Indian operates. A passenger who completes 10 flights by March 31, 2007 instead of February 27 will be entitled to one free air ticket instead of two that are available to other passengers.
Award Tickets
In a statement, the airline has said that the scheme is available for tickets issued against all fare levels including the highly rebated spot fares. The award tickets, will be valid for three months from the date of issue, can be utilised by the passenger or transferred to anyone else. In addition, the two-coupon executive class award ticket can be exchanged for a three-coupon award ticket in economy class. The passenger would, however, have to bear all taxes and levies that are applicable on the award tickets.
