Hyderabad , Dec. 7

In an effort to groom students for better technology careers, the Computer Society of India (CSI) and Vital Score Consulting have come together to provide hands-on training through exploratory learning projects.

With most of the students who secure degrees such as BE, B.Tech and MCA, are unable to procure right placement, this effort is aimed at familiarising them with software tools, software development life cycle, process, and standards.

The Chairman of CSI-Hyderabad Chapter, Mr Amarnath Rao, said that the promotion of IT as a profession is top priority of CSI. Towards this direction, CSI-Hyderabad and Vital Score would design and provide software training programme through exploratory learning approach.

According to the Director of Vital Score, Prof. V.V. Ramana Rao, the three months course is targeted at final year BE/B.Tech and MCA students and provides real life experience at a cost of Rs 8,500.

Vital Score Consulting, the training division of Vital Technologies, works on projects for Institute of Electronic Governance (IEG), National Informatics Centre (Delhi) and National Institute of Smart Governance.
