Semiconductor summit in Feb

Hyderabad, Jan. 25 The India Semiconductor Association (ISA) is set to host a two-day ISA Vision Summit 2007 here on February 5-6. During the conference, the ISA will release a directory of semiconductor companies and a study on India's global competitiveness.

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, is expected to inaugurate the summit, wherein thought leaders in semiconductor industry are set to participate.

The theme of the conference is `Global Competitiveness - India as a key player in the electronics eco-system.' Experts from semiconductor sector would provide insights on the impact of innovation, research and design and collaborations.

Mr Bryan Lewis of Gartner Dataquest, Mr Charlie Bullock of SVB Alliant, Ms Jodi Shelton of FSA, Mr Ajai Chowdhry founder HCL, Dr Vinod K. Agrawal of SemIndia are among the speakers.

Some guidelines for venture capital industry for emerging entrepreneurs in the industry would be charted out.

The domestic market for electronic products is expected to reach $363 billion by 2015.
