Air Deccan's new plans

Mumbai, Feb. 15

Air Deccan will soon fly non-stop between Mumbai and Mangalore. The low-cost carrier announced a daily Mumbai-Mangalore flight beginning March 26 in a statement released on Thursday. Bookings for the flight open at 8 a.m. on Friday. A 180-seater Airbus A-320 has been deployed to serve the route and fares begin at Re 1 plus taxes. The flight will depart Mumbai at 1:15 p.m. with the return flight leaving Mangalore at 3 p.m.
