Intel on Monday announced the appointment of Mr R. Ravichandran as South Asia Sales Director. Mr Ravichandran will be responsible for the overall consolidation of all sales activities in South Asia across channels and OEMs (original equipment manufacturers). He will be based in Chennai.

Mr Ravichandran is moving back to Intel India from Intel Technology Asia, Singapore, where he spent the last seven years driving several initiatives to grow the desktop and server platforms businesses.
