Pune March 28 Flash your smart card and open the door with the key as you normally do. Pune-based Digihome Solutions Pvt Ltd already has three clients for the intelligent home solution, two in Pune and one in Bangalore. Wonder Futura, a 118-flat; Rohan Tapovan, a 112-flat; and a 64-villa complex in Bangalore are the first customers for this product. The company offers builders an integrated solution comprising security, safety, information, communication, automation and entertainment and comes with a price tag ranging between Rs 40,000 and Rs 3lakh, depending on the configuration that a customer is looking for. Talking to presspersons, Mr Ashutosh Humnabadkar, Chief Executive Officer and Mr Chandrashekhar Raje, Director, Digihome said the company which has started with residential complexes as clients will expand to cover commercial ventures as also townships. The commercial inclusion would be in 2007-08.
Residential tech
Mr Ashutosh said the residential solution can be grouped into two categories society-level features and home-level features. The solution uses various devices and gadgets installed at home as well as in the society premises. He noted that security is provided by smart cards or PIN-based access to individual apartments and safety by surveillance cameras.

Spreading out
Mr Ashutosh said the company, with offices in Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad , is also expanding its presence in the country and will cover at least 10 cities. . He said the company is in talks with venture capitalists for its expansion plans and is looking at around Rs 100-crore as capital.
Arrangements with venture capitalists is estimated to be finalised by September this year and the company would be opening other sales offices by December this year, he said. Mr Ashutosh said the company has in the pipeline close to six projects in total, in Pune and Bangalore, and has also been receiving responses from West Asia and Singapore.
