EPiServer sets up R&D team in Bangalore

Bangalore, Oct. 5 Swedish content management software maker EPiServer announced expansion of its operations into Asia Pacific with the establishment of a research and development (R&D) team in Bangalore.

EPiServer is currently targeting the mid-market segment with its community and Web 2.0 solutions. “Along with the Web 2.0 ideas and our own Warm Website initiative, customers like to get closer to their Web site visitors and serve them in new ways,” said Mr Mikael Runhem, Founder and Chief Technical Officer.

The firm plans to partner 40 firms within the first year of operations.

Mr Sunny Ghosh joined the company as President, Episerver India. The firm is offering an EPiServer Training and Certification programme in India.
