Nokia launches contest to capture nightlife

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Feb. 28 Nokia N-series has announced Discover Soul of the Night (SOTN), a new-age tech challenge that invites users from across India to capture and share stories about the nightlife in their cities through their mobile devices.

This initiative comes together with the new Nokia N82 which allows users to capture good quality images at night and share them over the Internet instantaneously.

Tech enthusiasts can sign up on the Discover the Soul of the Night Web site ( www.soulofthenight.in). To register, applicants must submit their personal details, answer five questions on the nightlife in their city.

Registrations will close on 15th March for Delhi, 22nd March for Mumbai and 29th March for Bangalore. Ten applicants each from Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore who are able to answer all the five questions correctly in the shortest time will be invited to take part in the adventure with a friend.

The three-week long contest, starting in the last week of March, will be flagged off at one of the most iconic spots in each city pitting 10 teams against each other to discover the best “hangout” venues, “night spots” and “hidden treasures” that symbolise the spirit of the city’s nightlife — all using the new Nokia N82 multimedia computer.

The winner in each city will get an all-paid trip to Las Vegas for two.
