RCom to issue 17.5 m shares under ESOP

Mumbai, March 9 Reliance Communications (RCom) on Sunday announced a stock option scheme covering over 20,000 employees.

In a statement issued today, the company said it would grant 17.5 million stock options to the employees of the company and its subsidiaries. Each option would be exercisable into equal number of fully paid-up equity shares of RCom.

Employees are divided under three categories based on the number of years in the company, role, experience and contribution, to decide on the number of options to be allotted to each employee.

The options will vest at the end of one year from the date of grant.
