Sandis Tours launches e-school

Pune, March 21

Pune-based travel agency Sandis Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd has launched an e-school for the travel industry. This would offer training in all three global distribution systems - Amadeus, Galileo and Abacus. GDS is a direct service platform which enables travel counters to advice and directly book for airlines, surface transport, railways, hotels, package tours, travel related insurance and so on. The system gives instant access to travel vendors, automated pricing of flight itineraries, a variety of ticketing products, fully customised client documentation, technical solutions and tools designed for all types of agencies, Mr Sandeep Pendse, Director, Sandis Tours and Travels, said.

The course duration would be 300 hours with about 20-24 students per batch. The eligibility will be a minimum of 12th std with basic knowledge of computers and English. The course fee is Rs 27,000 per student and the syllabus includes domestic and international ticketing, travel documentation, fare formula, hotel reservations, package tours, central reservation systems practical training with certification and introduction to organisation and conventions. - Our Bureau
