New Products & Services Punjabi channel launched Our Bureau New Delhi, May 27 Channel Guide India has launched what it claims is the first Punjabi general entertainment channel Just TV Punjabi. The company plans to launch two more channels in the yet to be identified, uncluttered space over the next two years. It declined to share investment figures for these. For the moment it will focus on the launch of Just TV Punjabi for which it has tied up with NDTV Media. The latter will be providing marketing and strategic consultancy. Just TV Punjabi will feature shows across genres and include daily soaps, reality programmes, events, movies, comedy and lifestyle. According to Mr Manish Vasisht, Managing Partner and CEO, the channel will offer comprehensive family entertainment in Punjabi. Having set up offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Chandigarh where it has also set up a studio, Just TV Punjabi is looking to produce 40-50 per cent of its original content in-house.
