California Software net up 14%

Chennai, July 23

California Software, the Chennai-based software company, has reported a 14 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 2.48 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008 as against Rs 2.18 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total consolidated revenues were Rs 59.14 crore (Rs 53.95 crore). North America contributed 65 per cent of revenues; Europe 23 per cent and Asia Pacific, including India, 12 per cent. The company had 1,038 employees as on June quarter end, accord ing to a communication issued by the Calsoft to the BSE. —
