LG ELECTRONICS has launched Digi Direct, claimed to be India's first DTH-ready TV with inbuilt DTH decoder. It will be able to receive many free-to-air channels including 17 Doordarshan channels and 12 radio channels, apart from BBC, CNN, Sun TV and Smile. LG has currently introduced two models of 21" & 29" flat TVs. The 21" inch TV is priced Rs 13,990 and the 29" TV is Rs 25,990.
