`IOC top trading co in Asia - Pacific'

INDIAN Oil Corporation (IOC) has emerged as the No 1 company in oil trading among national oil companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to an IOC press release issued here, a survey conducted in this regard by Applied Trading Systems of Singapore for 2003 places IOC on the top of the list followed by Petronas of Malaysia, ENOC of the UAE, KPC of Kuwait and Saudi Petroleum of Saudi Arabia. The survey covered 80 petroleum trading companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
