People Ajay Mahajan to head YES Bank Our Bureau
Mumbai , April 5 THE new private sector YES Bank has announced the appointment of Mr Ajay Mahajan as the Country Head - Financial Markets, India. Earlier the bank had announced that Mr Srikrishnan, Country Head of HDFC Bank, would be joining as a director with a board seat of the new bank. Mr Mahajan has resigned from his earlier position as Managing Director and Country Treasurer - Global Markets Group at Bank of America, India, and shall be assuming his new responsibility at YES Bank in May. Said Mr Mahajan in a press release issued by YES Bank, "The opportunity is extremely challenging and a highly entrepreneurial one, which will enable me to build a modern and sophisticated financial markets business across several product offerings".
