Chennai , April 28

RELIANCE Infocomm Ltd has tied up with an online e-commerce site, Baazee.com, to provide mobile bidding facility to its subscribers.

Baazee.com will display a new showcase of products exclusively available for Reliance IndiaMobile subscribers on their mobile phones, according to a Reliance Infocomm press release.

The subscribers need to select `Auction' through R-World menu. Customers need not register with Baazee for bidding on mobile phones, as no login information is necessary with the authentication being effected by Reliance Infocomm on behalf of the user.

The application enables a user to select a particular item, view details such as the current price, start bid price, start bid time and end bid time along with the bid increment and bid value, before bidding for the item. With a few clicks, users can place a bid. They can also go to the `My Bids' option and view details of the bids submitted. A user can bid again, if outbid by another, the release says.

Reliance has also added the LG RD 2230 handset from LG Electronics to its range of data enabled handsets besides introducing new attractive prices for its popular LG RD 2030, Moonlight LG RD 2130, Nokia 2280 models.

The company has introduced an entry pricing of Rs 2,999 for Nokia 2280 handsets, Rs 3,499 for LG RD 2030 handsets and Rs 4,499 for Moonlight LG RD 2130 handsets.

All the three handsets will be pre-loaded with one recharge coupon worth Rs 324.
