Bangalore to host IIM seminar tomorrow

THE IIM, Calcutta Alumni Association, Bangalore Chapter, is organising here a daylong seminar on `Achieving sustainable success in global market — Challenge India' on Saturday.

The seminar will focus on the key trends and opportunities in the global market for Indian companies, insights into strategies and best practices adopted by successful indigenous companies, constraints faced by export companies and possible ways to overcome them.

Speakers from diverse industries and service sectors will share their learning and experience on `How to do it and how to sustain it'.

Mr Nandan Nilekani - MD & CEO, Infosys Ltd, Mr Ramanujam Sridhar, CEO, Brand-comm, Mr Dilip Kapur, Managing Director, Hidesign, Mr Mohan Kumar, Vice-President, Global Software Group, Motorola, Mr Shashikiran Mullur, Managing Director, Hi-Cal Magnetics Pvt Ltd, Mr Harish H.V., Practice Director, South India, Grant Thornton India Pvt Ltd, Mr Shankarnarayan R. Rao, Chief General Manager, Export-Import Bank of India, and Mr Gopalakrishnan Sankar, Managing Director, Tesco International Sourcing, are some of the speakers.

The seminar is targeted at companies seeking global opportunities through exports, contract manufacturing and outsourcing.
