Surana Tele Q3 net declines

HYDERABAD: Surana Telecom Ltd has recorded total income of Rs 19.70 crore and a net profit of Rs 2.23 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005, against total income of Rs 16.71 crore and a net profit of Rs 4.15 crore for the corresponding period last year.

Last fiscal, the company recorded total income of Rs 119.17 crore and a net profit of Rs 12.46 crore.

According to the Managing Director of Surana Telecom, Mr Narender Surana, the company saw increasing demand for power and had decided to diversify into its manufacture. It expects to begin commercial operations during 2006.
