Hyundai offers special finance scheme for Getz

New Delhi , Aug. 9

Hyundai Motor India on Wednesday launched a special structured finance and buyback scheme for its premium compact car Getz in select markets.

Under the scheme, customers in locations like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune will be able to buy a Getz car by paying low monthly instalments. The scheme, the first of its kind in the compact segment in India, is so structured that for 35 months the customer needs to pay a lower amount towards monthly instalments.

In the 36th month the EMI will be a lump sum amount to the tune of around 35 per cent of the ex-showroom cost of the car.

More importantly in the 36th month the scheme also gives the customer an upfront choice of either owning the car by paying the lump sum amount or upgrading to another Hyundai car with HMIL open to buying back the car at a prefixed price. The scheme will be run through select Hyundai Finance partners.

Talking about the scheme, Mr Arvind Saxena, Vice-President Sales & Marketing, said: "The reason behind launching this scheme is to make Getz more affordable for our customers as its EMIs will be comparable to that of any compact car. We want that our customers should enjoy driving the best technology and at the same time should not feel the pinch of paying heavy EMIs."
