Intel talent competitions

Intel, in alliance with the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Government of India, has announced the start of the `India Innovation Pioneers Challenge 2006'.

Entries are invited for three categories: Champion of Champions, where only winners of business plan competitions held over the past two years are eligible to apply; Scholar Sparks for student teams with technology ideas that have potential to become big businesses; and Wild Cards open to faculty, young entrepreneurs, scientists and working professionals.

The first, second and third place winners get cash prizes of Rs 3 lakh, Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively. In addition, winners in the `Champion of Champions' and `Scholar Sparks' categories can travel to the US for the Intel-UC Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge 2006-07.
