The Confederation of Indian Industry will organise a one-day conference on `Telecom and Broadband' on January 10 at the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, coinciding with the sixth edition of GITEX India slated for January 9-11. The conference would focus on the latest trends, challenges and the opportunities in software, BPO and telecom sectors, a CII press release said.

It would also deliberate on how to manage expectations of various stakeholders, strategies pertaining to aligning IT and business, business continuity and telecom outsourcing. Mr Shakti Sagar, Convenor of ICT panel of CII's AP chapter and Managing Director of ADP Private Ltd, and Mr N. Shiva Prasad, President of Electronic Industries Association of Andhra Pradesh, would address the meet.
