Encora Group, a US-headquartered product engineering services firm, announced its merger with the Bangalore-based Meritos Technologies, an offshore services company, on Wednesday.

The combined entity, known as Encora, has a staff strength of 160, with plans to ramp up the headcount of technology professionals to 1,500 in three years, said President and CEO of Encora, Mr Venu Raghavan. "The merger enables Encora to offer our clients a broader range of services on a global basis in the outsourced product engineering space," he said.
