Nasscom award for IBM chief

New Delhi, Feb. 16

IBM has said its Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Samuel J. Palmisano, has been conferred with a Nasscom award for sustaining growth, innovation and momentum of the company.

The 'Nasscom Business Leadership Award 2006' recognises Palmisano's achievements in building the company's service business and innovation leadership globally, IBM said in a statement. The company has also been recognised as the finalist for the 2006 IT Innovation Awards along with Bharti Airtel Limited.
