Italian computer-aided design firm think3 is attempting to entice the Indian manufacturing sector by announcing that it would make the commercial version and licence of its 2D software for free download at www.free2design.org. think3’s software has been used by small and mid-sized manufacturers around the world for over 25 years. “The initiative will go a long way in empowering engineers to build world-class and innovat ive products and boost their productivity,” said Mr Eugenio Vacca, Global Head of the initiative, in a release. –
