Over 500 students and teachers from schools across the State will take part in the three-day event, said Mr Anvar Sadath, Executive Director, IT@School, Project. All competitions held during the event will use only free software, he stated. The event is possibly the first time that an IT festival for students in India is being organised using only free software, he claimed. ProgrammesEvents being held as part of the festival include digital painting, an IT quiz, multimedia presentation, programming competition and so on.
