1 Point Size wins award

Kochi, March 28 1 Point Size (Chennai) has won the Agency of the Year award in the second edition of Pepper 2008, the annual creative award competition of the Advertising Club of Cochin. TBWA India was the runner-up in this category. Malayala Manorama won the Advertiser of the year award. Mr Ananda Narayan and Ms Payal Shah won the Copywriter and Art Director of the Year awards respectively. Pepper 2008, the annual creative awards competition of the Club, opened for agencies from all over south India received an overwhelming response with more than 600 entries from 55 agencies vying for the honours. Out of the 600 entries, 62 were selected under various categories of the competition. Also 27 were selected as finalists. A team comprising top professionals such as Mr Prathap Suthan, National Creative Director of Cheil Communications (Southwest Asia), Mr Josy Paul, Chairman and National Creative Director of BBDO India, and Mr Sajan Raj Kurup, Founder, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Creativeland Asia, evaluated the entries and selected the winners.
