Magical searches

Google redefined search. And when it launched Gmail, one of the USPs was email search. Now almost all email providers have introduced this feature, but Gmail's search is still the fastest. Gmail's inclusion of Google Docs in its Gmail search has made the experience even better.

But once you try CloudMagic, you might not think so highly of plain old Google search. CloudMagic can search Gmail, Google Apps email, Google Documents, Google Apps Documents, Google Calendar, Google Apps Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Apps Contacts, Google Spreadsheets, Google Presentations and Twitter.

So why would you install a third-party app? Once integrated with your Gmail and Twitter accounts, CloudMagic provides an unmatched search experience. It provides instant search - search results populate as you type - just like Google's instant search. Your searches are conducted across all email, docs, your calendar and Twitter account.

When you initiate a search, the results pop up in a separate box, leaving you free to continue working on your Gmail or Docs. If you are composing an email, and want to refer to an old email, you can initiate a search in CloudMagic and even copy parts of the old email by just selecting the portion you want and dragging it to the email you are composing. CloudMagic's search beats Gmail and Twitter search by miles as it indexes your content and when you make a query, provides instant results.

The application has now expanded to include apps for the iPhone and Android - you can experience the same level of superfast search in your mobile. Both the apps are free. CloudMagic has been getting rave reviews globally since its launch. And what makes it even more interesting is that it is an Indian company!

That app is pretty good. I can search all my mails and tweets in less
than a second.
But, I did not like one of your points "And what makes it even more
interesting is that it is an Indian company" because that is an age-old
comment when you consider start-ups from Bangalore. As I was attending
many start-up conferences in Bangalore, I saw many amazing start-ups.
few are also selected for start-up Chile, YCombinator etc.,.
