The National Human Resource Development Network will undertake independent annual rating and ranking of B-schools across the country.

NHRDN, an association of HR professionals committed to promote HRD movement in the country, announced its plan to rate B-Schools at the concluding session of the three-day conference held in Hyderabad.

S.Y. Siddiqui, National President of NHRDN, and Chief Operating Officer, HR, Finance, IT, Maruti Suzuki, in a statement said, “The NHRDN annual rating and accreditation of B-Schools will be launched in April 2013 and would be a step towards bridging the gap between industry and academia.

The NHRDN will then work towards bridging the gaps.”

The network endeavours to strengthen the HRD movement and in developing and maintaining high standards of professional excellence.

The HR challenges in future would entail engaging and retaining Gen-Y, building positive employee relations, building talent and skill pool along with promoting corporate governance, sustainability and inclusiveness.


The association instituted three NHRDN Udai Pareek Student Scholarships of Rs 1 lakh each to encourage HR students.

The network announced that it will grow its membership base from 12,000 to over 20,000.

It proposes to build National Headquarter and Chapter Office in Hyderabad and a Learning Centre in Haryana by 2015-16.
