LG Care aims Rs 150-cr revenue

INDIA Household & Healthcare Ltd, better known by its brand name LG Care, hopes to generate a revenue of Rs 150 crore in the current fiscal.

The company, which launched a range of consumer products across seven FMCG categories here today, hopes to rake in profits after three years, according to Mr Vijay R. Singh, Managing Director of India Household & Healthcare Ltd.

At a news conference here, LG Care unveiled, for the first time in eastern India, toothpastes, shampoos, detergents, soaps and diapers. Mr Singh said on the occasion that the company's products were imported and were already available in 14 States across the country.

The LG Care product range comprises 200 product packs in various sizes and variants. Over time, LG Care hopes to have three lakh retail outlets all over India.

Globally, LG Care FMCG products are available in over 40 countries.
