Samsung set to surpass sales target

HAVING achieved a growth of around 25 per cent in sales during the current festive season, Samsung India Electronics Ltd (SIEL) is set to surpass its increased sales targets for Andhra Pradesh, the SIEL Assistant General Manager (Sales), Mr Ashutosh Pant, said.

Mr Pant was addressing a press conference here on Wednesday to announce two of the winners of Samsung Projection TVs with home theatres in the ongoing `Pinning Toh Winning' offer, the biggest festival offer of the company so far with prizes worth Rs 100 crore. Mr Pant said SIELhas set a target of Rs 180 crore of sales this year from AP compared with Rs 110 crore achieved last year.

Mr Pant said the company has already achieved sales of Rs 158 crore till October-end this year and expects to exceed the targets.

Mr A. Satyanarayana of Gadwal and Mr P. Simhachalam of Visakhapatnam won the Samsung Project TVs with home theatres in the festival promotion offer. "In this offer, any customer of a Samsung product stands to win."
