NeST to train NEC Comm officials

Kochi, Feb. 6

NEC Communication Systems Ltd, Japan has chosen Kochi-based NeST as training partner for training its senior managers in global business leadership skills.

Commenting on the alliance, Mr Naotake Takatsukasa, President of NEC Communication Systems Ltd, said that it had selected NeST considering its track record with Japanese companies and also its overall management expertise in world markets.

Mr N. Jehangir, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, NeST Group, said hands-on-training at NeST Cyber Campus at Thiruvananthapuram, the IT training wing of the NeST group, will be the high point of this programme.

NeST, he said has a strong history of delivering quality products including emerging VLSI technology and services to Japanese companies such as Hitachi, Toshiba, Mitsubishi and Fijitsu. By adding another Japanese player NEC to the customer list, NeST is consolidating its presence in the Japanese market, he added.
